Every sculpture in the shop can be painted in colours of your choosing. A dragon with red wings and gold tips. A wolf in verdigris and bone. Whatever you have in mind, on any design we sell.
This is not something you add to a cart. Commissions are arranged one at a time, by conversation, and here is exactly how that goes.
How it works
- Tell us what you want. Which piece, and what colours. A rough description is fine. A reference photo is better.
- We tell you yes, no, or when. Honestly. If our artists are full, we will say so and give you a realistic date rather than take your money and keep you waiting.
- We agree a price before anything starts. It depends on the piece and how much detail you are asking for. Nothing is charged until you have seen the number and said yes.
- You get an invoice, then we begin. Paint, seal, photograph, ship.
Why we keep the queue short
Every finished piece is painted by hand, by one artist, one piece at a time. That is what makes them worth having, and it is also why we cannot run an open queue. We would rather take on a few pieces and give each one the attention it deserves than accept everything and rush the lot.
So there are times we will turn a commission down or ask you to wait. That is not us being difficult. It is the only honest way to sell hand-painted work.
If you would rather not wait
The Artist Finished range is already painted, already photographed, and ready to ship. What you see in those photographs is the exact sculpture that arrives. Each one is a single piece, so when it sells it is gone.
